BIFC Fall League To Start September 20

BIFC Adult League registration is now open for our 2021 Fall Adult Recreational League and 5-A-Side League season as well as 50+ nights (Thursdays) in September. The leagues will run for 10 weeks from September 20 - November 25. We decided to push back the start date from the 13th to the 20th given how hectic a time it is at the start of the new school year and to allow more time for people to register and for us to provide the best possible league setup for everyone.

Our intention is to offer both leagues if we have enough registrations to run two separate leagues. However if we do not have high numbers we will then combine the registrations and play one league. We will send out an update on the final league set ups as well as advising players of their cohorts or teams .

We intend to play games on Monday - Thursday evenings with the potential to play doubleheaders. Depending on final numbers we may hold all games at 7:00 pm. and a final decision will be made on whether to play with fixed teams or cohorts.

In order to avoid the ongoing challenge/issue with uniforms we have decided to place an order for two sets of adult jerseys (one black and one red). So included in this Fall's registration is the cost of two jerseys ($50.00) which each registered player will be able to keep and use for subsequent seasons. This way each player will bring a red and black jersey to each game night and we will play red vs black whether it's on set teams or by cohort. Going forward only newly registered players will be required to order these jerseys as we have chosen a jersey which will stay in circulation for several years so players will only be need to order them once. Players will be asked to submit their jersey size when they register.

We will be offering 50+ soccer with Harry Hubball on Thursday evenings (6:00 - 7:00 pm) beginning September 9 for the month of September and we will be looking to run another 4 sessions indoors in November.

We hope to see you on the field this September and are requesting people register early so we can place our order and get the jerseys quickly and make the best decision in regards to league formats.
