Bristowe Becomes Third BIFC Player to Make BCSPL

Bowen Island FC is pleased and proud to announce Arjun Bristowe has been selected to the North Van FC intake team (2009s) for the BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL).

Bristowe played for BIFC from 2014-2018 before moving on to North Van Selects and HP program as well as the Vancouver Whitecaps Prospects.

One of the most dedicated and talented players to come from Bowen, Bristowe joins William Segal (Mountain United) and Molly Quarry (Mountain United) to have made the province's highest league. BIFC Men's player Brian Cuba also played for Mountain but did not play his youth soccer with BIFC.

"I cannot think of any player more deserving of this than Arjun," said BIFC Club GM and TD Morgan Quarry. "From the moment I first saw him running around the AT field with his Blundstones on at 3 years of age I had a feeling he would turn in to one of the best players Bowen has even seen. His commitment, dedication and desire to kick a ball almost 24/7 along with the tremendous support of his parents (and BIFC coaches) has made him reach this significant milestone. The sky is the limit on how far he can go with his talent and abilities and obviously love for the game."
