Peters-White Named New Club Coordinator

BIFC announced today Anita Peters-White has been appointed the new Club Coordinator. Peters-White takes over from long-time Club Coordinator/Registrar Dayna Purdy.

Anita Peters-White is new to BIFC, Bowen Island and Canada. She has a background in Human Resource Management and Executive Management consulting but is new to soccer. She moved to Bowen in 2020 with her husband and two daughters and became involved with BIFC when her girls joined the U12 girls’ team, and she became Team Manager.

“I have enjoyed working with the coaches, players and getting to know the soccer community of Bowen. When the Club Coordinator position was posted I jumped at the chance to get more involved with the Club,” said Peters-White. “I look forward to working with the GM/TD, the Board, Coaches, Managers, Players and Members of BIFC.”

"We are very excited to have Anita join us, and we feel her skill set will be a great addition to the Club. It's a bittersweet moment because Dayna has been such a huge resource, asset and friend to the Club and to me personally," said GM/TD Morgan Quarry. “She has played a massive role in getting the Club to where it is today, and we are thrilled Dayna has agreed to stay on until the New Year to help with the transition.”
